 Oven-chicken in Dead Sea salt
“delicious and easily digestible”

• 1 chicken (1-1,5 kg), washed and dried • 1 kg Dead Sea table salt • 1 teaspoon Dead Sea table salt
Olive oil • 1 tablespoon fresh grounded pepper (optional fresh chopped up herbs like tarragon or thyme)


Heat up oven to 200 °C
Mix Olive oil, 1 teaspoon of Dead Sea table salt, pepper and the herbs. Rub the mixture thoroughly on the outside and inside of the washed and tried chicken.
Place the chicken in the centre of a baking tray and sprinkle 1 kg Dead Sea table salt in a ring around the chicken without touching the chicken.
Roast the chicken for approx. 15 minutes at 200 °C in the oven. Reduce the heat to 175 °C and leave the chicken for another 35-45 minutes in the oven (depending on the size of the chicken).
Take the chicken out of the oven and wait 7-10 minutes before serving.
